Make sure and check the spline location of this 40 spline spool.  This spool is not splined all the way through.
The spline location is show in above pictures amd there is a space before the spline starts on both sides of the spool.
PRO gear sets are manufactured in the USA by U.S. Gear from the finest heat treated 9310 steel.
With required 40 spline Special Offset Steel Spool for the 9" Ford.  (you can't run this ring & pinion without the offset spool).
