CHEVY BIG BLOCK YELLOW TIP DIPSTICK & TUBE 396 427 454 CORVETTE CAMARO CHEVELLE

Description

This auction is for a GM / Chevy original survivor Yellow tip dipstick & straight dipstick tube. This is a no longer in production dipstick and tube, although "offshore" reproductions are now available. Both items are in very good to excellent condition. No rust or physical damage. The rubber seal at the top of the dipstick is still soft. The tube is in great condition. No dents or big scratches. It is slightly bent at the "bubble" where it seats in the oil pan as this assembly was installed in an actual 427 motor for some time, and this was done to facilitate correct fitment.
Fits 1964 - 1972 GM / Chevy 396, 402, 427, & 454 Big Block engines. Biscayne, Caprice, Impala, Chevelle SS and Malibu, Camaro SS, Z28, Yenko, and COPO, Nova, Monte Carlo SS, Chevy and GMC truck.
The dipstick included in this auction is marked: Add 1 QT,  FULL,  USE SE ENGINE Oil  E.
Approximate measurements are as follows:
OVERALL DIPSTICK:  24 1/4" long
BOTTOM of BELL to FULL MARK:  18 7/8"
BOTTOM of BELL to ADD MARK:  19 7/8"
BETWEEN ADD and FULL MARKS:  1"
ADD TO END OF STICK:  1 1/8"
I can vouch for the authenticity of this pair as I'm the one who has owned them for the last 50 years. Bought new at a local Chevy dealer back in the day.
