From 1963 to1965 Ms. Lintault worked in the Peace Corps in Quinua and Ayacucho, Peru, in crafts development, where she assisted weavers, knitters, and dyers in improving the quality of their work, introducing fast dyes, and setting up a crafts cooperative. The Fulbright research included exploration of the historical background of traditional Japanese dyes and their use with the textile resist techniques of katazome, yuzen, and shibori.
She has taught and lectured on various surface design techniques throughout the USA, Japan, India, China, and Malaysia.
After teaching fiber and textile design at Southern Illinois University for 27 years, Ms. Lintault is currently living and working in upstate New York.

THERE IS NOW ONLY ONE WAY TO RECEIVE ANY POSSIBLE DISCOUNTS FOR COMBINED SHIPPING CHARGES ON MULTIPLE ONE-DAY PURCHASES,
both Auction and Buy-It-Now formats. There are no longer Paypal refunds for postage once payment has been made.
    a. Auction Purchases: Wait for combined shipping invoice on multiple auction wins prior to payment. This may take up to a day based on my schedule, and does not affect your prompt payment status. The message line of the invoice will reflect that the postage has been combined.
    b. Buy-It-Now Purchases: If you plan to buy more than one item from me, add them to your shopping cart, DO NOT USE BUY IT NOW. Once your cart is full, click on the button at top of cart page that says "Request Total From Seller."
